Mr. McGuire:
Your fellow subscribers have put quite a bit of effort over the past few weeks into scrubbing the political sniping from this RAILROAD forum. Please cooperate with us. Thank you.
Shhhh!! Don’t tell Obama.
Its a carload spike it will go flat or even go down shortly.Winter was rough so now its catch up time.

You’re welcome, Larry.
I like to think the joint effort here has made a positive difference. Guse is gone, clearly having been removed by the editors (I think it unlikely he would have departed on his own). The other major offender, apparently having read read the collective mood, has scaled way back on his input, and has kept even that more pertinent than has been his habit. Hopefully, friendly reminders to fellow subscribers are working to bring into line those who may have been unaware of the ongoing effort.
I will pass your excellent suggestion on to Mr. Schmidt. Thanks for the idea.
Any News How Much Is Export?
Thanks Mr. Kuehn; friendly reminders to fellow subscribers seem to be working. Because of the many places there are to leave comments, I’m sure many have not heard of the effort from Train’s followers to police our comment section. Think we could get trains to display an informative banner that would appear when you open News Wire explaining what has been happening, the reason, and why it is good for all?
It seems most have been pleased that subscribers can still leave different opinions as long as their feedback is thoughtful, on-topic and respectful. The major difference is that the habitual offenders who use offensive language, personal attacks, or irrelevant comments are the ones being deleted.
We are getting back to Railroading which I’m sure is what attracted us to this site to begin with.
What is the reason the NSC coal originating loads are down? Is theirs possiblydue to low demand for export metalurgical coal?
