I’m trying to locate both the engine and the dummy. Does any body know where I can locate these? THanks Dan 702-860-0471

Hello Dan,

No company makes a locomotive that your looking for.Your best bet is to get a hold of a custom decal maker and have them make some Weirton decals. The locomotive and dummy/Slug will have to be scratch built,or at least the slug will have to be built.

Building a slug isn’t all that hard ,just takes time.

They only made 100 and I’m trying to see if anyone wanted to sell one of them. Good Idea on trying to make my own. I might try!

I would just build your own. Grab an SW1500 and calf and give it a new paint job; with some decals. The chance of you finding an Uncatologed run of 100 engines by MTH isn’t too great…Knowing MTH’s manufacturing habits…They may not have even made that…

I stand corrected. Didn’t know anyone made them. Much less in O scale at that. Sweet looking locomotive ,I can understand why you want a set. Yeah I still say that if you can’t locate one,it would be fairly easy to make your own. Just the trouble of finding the correct decals or having someone make them.
