Were's the engineer in a Cab Forward?

Would the engineer be on the left if you are standing in front looking at it?

Classic Trains had a cab forward special a few issues ago, had some cab interior shots. Engineer was on the right (from his point of view), same as any other US steam loco - in other words, the positions were flopped from a regular boiler ahead loco. If you like cab forwards that issue is well worth getting, lots of good stories.

Yes, the engineer’s seat was on the right if sitting in the cab, or on the left if you’re facing it from outside.
