westerfield models was sold to a company in colorado.word was that they would be informing us when things were squared away.does anyone out there have any knowledge as to what is going on with this situation.thank you,tuxedo
As of a message posted on May 3 on the Steam Era Freight Car List, the new owner of Westerfield Models is still clearing the backlog of orders that Al and Patricia Westerfield took last year.
I just recieved my backorder from Feb of 2011. when I spoke with Al last year he said that the “panic” ordering of kits was more that they ever anticipated. The new owner, Andrew Dahm, contected me several times informing me of the progress of my order while I was waiting for it. he indicated that as soon as the backlog of orders is done he will reopen the website to orders.
