Barstow it is Vic. Good job. For those that dont know this is the east end of BNSFs Barstow yard looking twards Old Barstow yard. The bridge above was the hwy58 bridge over the yard.
Well it looks like the western where is it has lost populairity. Unless I get feedback otherwise I’m going to stop doing them. I have run out of material that’s uploaded and I’m not going to load any more if nobody’s into it. What do you guys think?

Well Vic, I’m glad you enjoy. If I get support I’ll continue. It’s not that big a deal to upload some more material but I’ve been rather busy lately and I don’t know how long it will be before I can get to it. I had been getting like 100+ views on most days and yesterday I only got like 30+. It just seemed everybody was loosing interest.

I look, but don’t post. Mainly because I haven’t been west of the rockies except for Arizona. All you would get is a smart***answer outta me. LOL. Now if there was a MIDwestern where is it…[8D]

Hmmmmm. No smog, no cornfields. I’m guessing that it’s not LA or S.D. So…I’m going to guess Barstow, California. Or is it too late to guess?

I, too, enjoy checking out the pics, hoping that one may show something I recognize from my all-too-few visits to the left coast.
farmer03- I started to do a midwestern one a few weeks ago, but since I don’t have much in the way of my own material and got busy on two fronts (home and work), I had to quit. That and the embarrassment of putting up a pic that was very similar to a shot in Trains a couple months prior…[:I]

Chad — I also look at each days photo, even if it is a week late. My work schedule doesn’t let me (usually) see the day’s item until nearly 24 hours after you have put it up, so I usually don’t say anything. Then, of course, the pic of Bend you had was one that you would have had to know about to guess its location! Not that I might not have worked there!
Keep it up, lad. Some days are better than others. These last few days I have had to be looking for new suppliers for some really speciality items because the tornados totally “dispersed the inventory” of a couple of suppliers I deal with. “Just-in-time” inventories are the pits.
