Sorry about yesterdays Where is it. Car + power pole = Big mess with no power for 4 and a half hours!
So, for that, I think I will stick you all with a tough one today. [:P] But watch, somone will get it right off and when and if I get home for lunch I will have to post another. But anyway, I’m rambling, so I will just shut up and post it already.
Wallula/Attalia Jct., WA?
River? Looks like the water is still to me. Hope that helps. [:P]
This is a VERY tough one and I will be suprised if somone gets it without more hints!
Is that the Jeopardy theme I hear?? Ok so All im gonna say is Chad is close, he got it within 30 miles of this location. Anyone who has been here and headed to yellowstone on Hwy 191 from here might know more. Hint hint, Wink wink, Nudge nudge.
Getting Warmer, Much warmer.
Does the branch to Reliance still exist? It has to be that.
Close enough!!! Its about a mile south of Relaince on the old South Pass branch that just ends at the old Stansbury mine now. You might see a coal train on this branch every now and then. Stansbury mine was bought and is/will be used for testing new models of underground mining equipment. This is only about 100 yards up from the local Progress rail service car repair facility. And just ot make you all jealous, I was fishing while I watched those guys switch cars around all morning. What else better could a guy do on a thursday morning besides railfan and fish at the same time? This was taken from the Bass pond at the Sweetwater County Fairgrounds.
Oddly enough, the fishing is better while they are switching than not…
