That looks like the now abandoned SPS trackage along the Palouse River in the Hooper-Washtucna Coole area.
I know! It’s at a place with a train bridge in the mountains somewhere in BNSF Territory!
Yellowstone River, western Montana?
Nope, I used to live about where you are taking about and that’s not it. By the way the countryside looks–it’s not Montana unless it the East side.
[:I]I think I meant eastern Montana, and probably the Missouri River.
I’ll shoot for the PRB somewhere[:D]

Oregon Trunk?

Hey Chad If you would email me and let me know your answer to this one and let me know when you are ready to take it back over, that would be great.
On the ATSF near Kingman AZ?
On the old Santa Fe Peavine Line near Ash Fork
Ok. here is another hint. If you look closley you can see an earth dam.
How about east of Lovell, WY? IIRC, back when I drove through that part of the country in '78, it looked quite similar to this- and could the earthen dam be holding back Bighorn Lake?
Warmer.
Oops, I just realized I’m a state off, as far as BNSF is concerned. How about near Havre, Montana?
Is anyone else here not able to see the picture?
Emma, I can see it just fine.

OK. Let a rock fly — Boyson, WY, actually, between the town and Boyson Dam??
