Roseville ?

Somewhere new some big mountain passes requiring rotary snowplows!

Dale got it, it’s Roseville. And with a quickness. Good job. I figgured someone would get this right away because I used another shot at the other end of the yard with the other two rotarys a month or so ago.

I had to check to see if Dale beat Brians record and he didn’t but came close.
Brian yesterday…6:01
Dale today…8.46

I guess this means they are getting too easy but I’m scrapeing the bottom of the barrel till I can load some more. Seince I am takeing Amtrak to LA tommarrow I will probably not get a chance till next week. So next week will probably be a guest contributor week.

Anyway here’s another

Cajon?

…on the 1st one the snowblower is the dead giveaway

Not specific enough

Kinda looks like the Hesperia side…

I want to say just below the silverwood exit, where that train recently derailed

San Bernardino

Without grabbing my timetable to check that milepost, here’s what I can tell. Smoking units, so they’re climbing. Looks like the San Gabriels in the distance. Good old Cajon power lines too. All that plus the gently sloping ridge right behind the train makes me think this is on the SP Palmdale Cutoff, just east of the ATSF Alray Tunnels, near that Hill 582 railfan spot.

Close but not quite.

Sullivan’s Curve

OK guys, It’s Highland sideing on the Palmdale cutoff at the top of Cajon Pass.

Make that the west end of Hiland siding.

Hey I was in the right Zip code!
