Wait a minute! Grain cars… a log truck… southern California???[(-D]
Magic [8] not working. I’m going back to my original guess (which is probably still wrong because I’m from the midwest) and say the somewhere along the Columbia River gorge in Washington state (at least the log truck and the grain cars make mores sense).

Where in the George?
Somewhere, by George![:o)]
South of Pasco, Washington?
Nope
West of Bingen is my easy answer. Someone else can nail it closer to the nearest milepost or siding. Been through there many times on ATK, and I’ve seen a lot of photos from the other end of that tunnel, so this is a refreshing new view for me.
Good enough Clemente. It’s between Cooks (RR Sideing) and Bengin, Wa. in the heard of the Columbia River George. The lake to the left is Draino lake (formed by the railroad / highway causeway). The Columbia is on the right and the mountains in the background are on the Oregon side. This is a very poular spot for launching boats and in the summer it’s common for there to be 2 miles worth of vehicles with boat trailers on both side of the highway and filling any other place to park. Between them, all the Boardheads closer to Bingen and all the tourists not paying attention, this can be a very dangerous streach of road. Good job Clemente.
Just East of Cooks, I believe.
(OOPS. After posting this note, I looked at the complete thread. Good work Clemente.)
In the bowels of course, or perhaps the heart.
Not to be confused with The Gorge at George.
