Colton Yard?
That is an interesting photo. I don’t see any mountains, and those trees look like something a central California City would plant, rather than natural growth.
Not Colton
There is one clue that is a dead giveaway.
Do the circular wipers indicate the Donner Pass route?
[:-^]
Roseville ?
PS…call me - important !!
That was the clue Dale.
Modocer, no fair dad, you were standing next to me when I took it.[:D]

I guess Cajon Pass.
San Bernardino.
Hint: It’s not in California.
Did you take that with your D60, Chad? If so, where was your ISO at? 800? That sky is showing a good amount of noise…

No Chris, this was taken with the old EOS Elan.
Hmm, I’ll guess out near Tucson? The SP Sunset Route runs pretty close to I-10 NW of there, and there were sections that were still single-track.
Ahhh…OK. That seemed worse than I ever got even at ISO 800. What film were you using, just for curiosity? Kodachrome 200? That grain is as big as golf balls!
Not the Sunset, good guess though.
Think commuter.

Sorry, I don’t remember. Could have been print film even.

It’s not in California Dan.
