I’m looking for photos and information on installing split K-brake rigging on Bowser GLa hopper cars. I model the early 1900’s (1908), and I want to ensure that I have the rigging (including piping) that properly reflects that period. Thanks.
The closest I can come up with right now is this. On page 29 is a diagram of the GLa with old style hopper.

This will take a while to load. I will look for more info.

There is a free copy of a 1897 car builders cyclopedia in google books. It is a free download and just chock full of information from the early days of modern railroading.

Thanks Pete. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
