Man, I know how you feel. Hopkinsville never really had a LHS. The closest LHS to me a while ago was the Hobbytown USA in Clarksville, TN. until they closed it some time ago. Hobby Lobby is ok, but if I really want to get my hands on a brand new loco or something, I have to drive to Gallatin, TN (close to Nashville) and visit Aardvark’s Model Train Shop or Southbound Trains in Franklin, TN.
Because of gas prices (I have to buy premium at $3 a gallon [|(] ), the internet is now my best friend when it comes to buying model railroading supplies.
