What are you going to try to get at the Big E?

Hey guys/girls, just wondering for those of you who plan to attend what you are looking for at the Big E show. I know I am going to buy a loco and some freight cars and maybe look for some deals on anything else. I would like to find some New England roadname stuff that etheir is not made at all (custom painted) or out of production. I might walk out with stuff for my current layout but all I need for that is at the LHS. I would like to add to my 50s/60s collection. Lets get it a layout to run on… So what are your plans?

1-3 new engines, freight cars, and lots of em!! and proby some track or sumat like that

I am going with an open mind(and wallet)I dont have anything special that im looking for,but i will know it when i see it!Theres no way im going to miss it my daughter wont let me.

The “BIG E” refers to the Big Exposition Center and fair grounds in West Springfield Massachusetts. It is called the BIG E for shorthand. Every year, the Amherst MRR club sponsors a huge Mdel RR show there, the last weekend in January. It covers over 4 acres of space in 3 very large buildings. It is the largest model RR show in the Northeast and probably the country.
