What colour is your train room?

I painted the room white because in this part of the world it gets really hot in the summertime and a white room gives me a since of coolness. I did however, paint the backdrop in my trainroom a sky blue color just because it is the backdrop for my layout…chuck

Concrete. (unfinished basement garage)

As I proceed in finishing my basement (train room), I am painting the drywall white. The layout fascia and valance is black, while the backdrop is blue. The layout is lit with 4’ fluorescents (single bulb) end-to-end behind the valance. The aisleways & common areas are lit separately. During operations, the aisle lights are not used. I really like this diorama-like presentation of the layout.

Wood paneling natural finish pine. Tends to make layout photos orange looking.

Mine’s dark green and bright pink vertical stripes!
The ceiling is small orange and white checkerboard, the floor is small red and blue checkerboard, the stairsteps are black and white checkerboard, and the stairwell walls are painted in blue and orange zebra stripes.I get dizzy from working in my train room, haven’t figured out why yet!

JUSSSSSSSSSST KIDDDDDDDDDDINNNNGGGGG!!! LOL!

It’s all unpainted concrete at this time, but very dry, and well ventilated, as I have central air and heat.
My basement is my mostly layout and workshop, however it also houses a very nice sauna room and hot tub, ventilated so as not to disturb my layout.
