What ever happened to Burlington???

What ever happened to the Red and White stripped Burlington Lines??

I have been out of the hobby for sometime now, and I want to know if anybody has seen or heard of what they changed to?? Is it Burlington Northern? I have some of the Engines from Burlington Northern. The engines that I have are Green and White stripped. I like the looks of the Burlington Red and White scheme. I have the red and white models also and would like to expand if they are still around.

Please help me???
Thank you, Jamie

Welcome to the forum. The Chicago, Burlington and Quincy was merged into Burlington Northern during 1970. Most of their lines are still used by BNSF, generally the Chicago, Nebraska and Powder River Divisions on this map-

It was called the Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy before it became Burlington Northern in 1970. In 1995 Burlington Northern merged with the Santa Fe to form the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. In September 2005 the name was shortened to “BNSF Railway”.

Thank you Nanaimo73, I appreciate the reply. That is the red and white engine that I have in my collection.

Thanks again!!!
