Getting ready to put the cork down on my switching layout what’s a good glue for attaching cork to foam?
Woodland Scenics’ Foam Tack Glue is good for that use - you squeeze out a bead of glue and then flatten and spread it with a spatula or (my preference) one of those “Your Name Here” fake credit cards that come in the junk mail. I also use flexible adhesive caulk, the latex kind with water clean up. You don’t need a lot.

ordinary cheap flexible acryllic based caulk at your local lumber store.
Acylic caulk, in tubes, from the lumberyard. Sticks well, is cheap. Like $3 a tube.
Silicon caulk will work well but is a little more expensive but it will have some pretty heavy duty sticking power.
Yes, DAP AlexPlus. Readily available and inexpensive. Translucent/ clear spread thin as suggested will help to follow track centerline and used for track, any excess won’t show on ties.
thanks for all the replys
Liquid Nails makes an adhesive compatable with foam board. I believe you can get it in the small tubes or the larger ones which require a caulking gun. I’ve used it quite a bit and it holds well.
If you wish to take it apart use the latex caulk.
If not, go with the liquid nails.
‘Liquid Nails for Projects’ is the foam safe one. Actually, any of the clear acrylic caulks work better. Just make sure you use a putty knife or spatula to spread the stuff super thin - You have too much if it ‘oozes’ up between the ties!

I’m a big fan of LePages water based contact cement

It’s low odour and “friendly” and has excellent holding properties. Washes up with water and doesn’t eat foam or other materials
