What happen to Photobucket?

[:-^] I transfered a photo this moring and there were all kinds of ads with delays.

Then they wanted me to pay 99cents, not to have to watch the ads?

I just signed in to Photo Bucket and no issues. I can see my Library.

Up loaded two photos and no problems.

Just in case, clear your browser of all data. Below is what I do quite often.

You haven’t been hacked at all. Photobucket has gotten increasingly aggressive with ads with sound. To link your photos to this site, you need to enable flash, but you can choose when to enable it.

If Firefox, while on the Photobucket page click Tools/Page Info/Permissions.

Select Always Ask for Adobe Flash and Block for all Java options.

When you have a photo that you want to copy the location for, the Share box is to the right. When you click on the usual copy box, you should see a little Firefox window in the upper right. Click on Allow now not Allow and Remember.

Sorry I can’t help with Chrome or microsoft’s browsers

I guess I do not see the ad is becasue I use Ad Block Plus and Flash Block in Firefox.

I have never done any modifications to the Photo Bucket page either.

I do get Spam from them in email but it goes right into the Spam folder automatically.

Photobucket is down this am. I figured out how to get a link out of Flickr ending in a jpg so it is visibile in forums.

No, I mispoke, I have done it, but I’m not sure how. Right click on the pic and copy link location. It it ends in jpg, you are good to go, it it ends in a number, it will work as a link, but not a physical picture in your post.
