Good golly moses, I thought it was supposed to be spring, but it’s 33 degrees here in central Illinois this afternoon and Easter is in 2 days. I can’t even go out and work in the shop it’s so cold and rainy-sleety. John[:(]
Warm and sunny down here in Dixie! [:D] Sorry, didn’t mean to rub it in. [;)]
Unfortunately, we are supposed to have rain storms tomorrow and Easter Sunday. [:(]
At least it is warm down here in Dixie. A little wet though. Need to get that garden disked and row and beds made.
Since I started a layout last month, this is the FIRST year I have’nt cared WHEN Spring gets here! Joe in “below normal temps” PA
Warm in the heart of dixie; about 5 min ago came back w/BB the beagle. No rabbits out yet but she made friends w/a cat, running it around the block a couple of times. Course if the cat stands its ground, BB the beagle backs off really quick as she aint no fool.
Shared a chicken dinner with BB the beagle. and soon will fall off to sleep after having 2 drinks of this wine from western Sicily which I can’t pronounce, but the label says it is the only wine of its kind. Paid $15 for the bottle, most I ever spent on a bottle of wine.
Has a sort of plum flavor that brings back some memories of Japan and some women over there I met decades ago.
Well enough ramblings for tonight; pleasant dreams.
Well…it’s supposed to be in the 50s starting on Easter in NW Ohio…so I think Central Illinois shoud be about the same time…or soon!!!

Easter Easter Easter Easter Easter!!!
It snowed yesterday morning here in Vermont. The temps have been consistently below “average” for three months.
I asked our weatherman about it. He says that’s what makes “average” temperatures. Months way above, followed by months way below.
For more information on this, read “State of Fear” by Michael Crighton. While the plot is typical for him, the scientific evidence and foot-noted annotations are a compilation of what many weather scientists and climate experts not dependent on Federal research dollars have been clamouring for.

This makes me think of a commercial for The Weather Network that is currently showing here in Canada. It shows a little girl with a basket frolicking through a field with peacful music playing. The words “Spring at Last!” appear on the screen. Then the music dies down slightly and the following words appear on the screen, which a serious voice reads:
Spring may not be available in all areas. Spring conditions may be substituted with crappy weather or stupid winter. Please check The Weather Network and theweathernetwork.com for updates. We have the right to contradict the predictions of a certain subterrainian rodent because we have 30 meteorologists on staff. And he doesn’t.
I always get a laugh whenever I see it.
Suppose to get into the 50s and 60s from Tuesday till friday, in Pa.

[:D] COME ON TUESDAY!!! Thanks, John
My Spring got hijacked by our heating fuel distributors.

They’re forecasting 37 F (3 C) tonight in Austin (30 degrees north latitude)!
Watching the news this evening, it actually snowed today west of Dallas. Didn’t last long. News said it was the coldest Easter day in some number of years. 30s for tonight - but they say it will get to mid-70’s tomorrow!
Regards,
Roy
[:D]We’re going to upstate NY this weekend to watch maple syrup being made. The weather is cold and wet, perfect for sugaring. It’s suppose to be in the upper 60’s here in central Illinois all week. Funny cartoon in the paper this morning. Rhymes with orange. Showed a pair of bunny ears just above the snow going house to house last panel showed an easter basket on stoop and balloon above the ears saying, “I just hate an early easter”. John[:D][:D]
