I personally haven’t done anything, just not the proper settings, nowhere to really set anything up that would actualy grab the attention of my audience.
Hi Matt, can’t really say I’ve done much out of the ordinary, just because it’s November. I did have my sister and her boys over to see the layout, and the same for Big Girl’s Twin brother, his 2 kids, and her dad.
If I was going to do any train shows, they come up in Jan, Feb, and Apr, but I’m still deciding IF I want to do them. They are a lot of work, and a distraction from the home layout.
I’m very torn.
I worked on my Model Railroad! [:D]
Our club had our modular layout at a train show in another city on November 5th.

ooooooh, nothiing special. I just continue with business as usual.
I brought my P2K Berkshire to work and displayed it on my bookcase for a week.

I’ve gone to a few shows with my club layout, brought some trains to work and worked on my own layout.
I bought way too many model RR items.
Spouse is thinking of banning my celebration of model railroad month next year. If I buy too much next year my cover story will be that I’m not celebrating model railroad month, I’m celebrating “small size transportation infrastructure month”.

Pretty much nothing, but I was away for the first 20 days of the month. I have contributed to the economic health of the hobby this month, however.
Well, our club held 2 W/E Open Houses - we had about 225 visitors - and maybe a few new members!

i have started my layout, gone to a train show and spent a lot off money!!
nothing, but I bought the things to start my new layout! However, i’m so plugged with HW, SSAT’s, and other RR stuff (Shows etc), I doubt i’ll start building till Christmas break.
I pissed off my wife [:D]
ive laid out all the new track, made my millionth revision to the table itself, and contemplated a fictional New England shortline(see my post about the Conecticut River Valley RR and tell me what you think)
i didnt even know it was model railroad month. had i known, i would have thrown an opreating party LOL!!

I participated with my club in a module layout at a Greenburg show.
I helped set up open house tours in my area. We had 97 layouts open this year. I did not hold open house myself this year but have every year in the past for about 8 or 9 years, time for a break. Went to about 12 - 14 layouts to see what others have done. Gave out many of the scheduals. There were 2500 of them published this year.
