Whew! You scored BIG!!! Obviously one of Santa’s favourites.
Maybe you didn’t get the loco, but I surely wouldn’t complain. You made out like a bandit.[tup]

WOW! That’s a heck of a haul![:O]
WOW!
I counted 13 items including a Digitrax Zephyr!
And you’re not happy about not getting the loco you wanted?
I got nuttin’ for Christmas…except a transmission and alternator repair bill!
I raked in also, I got a Kato F-7 AB set Great Northern Empire Builder and set B and C of the smoothside passenger cars (Now I need set A, the one w/the observation car).
Also got The Super Chief set A, B, and C , and bunch of shirts.
I got a bag of coal!!!
BUT- I have nifty Craftsman hammer and a sifter, so not all is lost!
I can make real coal loads for my HO coal hoppers.
But Santa, as for you,you can kiss your bottle of Jack Daniels and homemade oatmeal cookies
goodbye!!! LOL!!!
They will be replaced with a stale onion and a cold cup of 3 day old decaf coffee!

Really didn’t get any train stuff for Christmas, but actually I have so many kits to build now and things to do on my layout I really don’t need anything right now.
I did have a nice quiet Christmas with my family though.
Best wishes to all!

Somebody is rich.
My fiancee bought me a wooden coaling tower for my birthday, so I wasn’t feeling too bad about not getting train stuff for Christmas. What I DID get was one of the best Christmases ever. I spent Christmas Eve with my fiancee and her, until recently, estranged daughter. We then went to the late Christmas church service celebrating what all the hullabaloo is REALLY about; the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I’d also like to post a belated Merry Christmas to all of our servicemen and women who spent Christmas away from their loved ones. By the way, who bought all that train booty for you? Would they like to adopt? [:D]
WOW, you must have been a very good little boy all year long…
I got the same Cinder Conveyor & Sanding Tower kits and felt very fortunate. Guess I will have to start being good a lot earlier next year.
Any idea where Santa got the 50-tom dorp bottom car? They would sure look nice with the cinder and sanding tower kits.

Lucky Lucky you

Those are some pretty good stocking stuffers. I didn’t get any real train things for Christmas but I did score on what I’ve been wanting for over 30 years. Unlimited space for my trains and model railroad museum. There is approximately 16,000 square feet. Much smaller than some of the others we had been looking at, but more manageable and all on one level. We submitted the earnest money on 12/22 and expect to close this week.
Now it is just a matter of deciding exactly how much space the layout vs. museum will actually get and how much will be living space. Originally the gym was going to be the layout room, but I sort of like having a full size gym in the house. I am thinking maybe a 1/2 court basketball will be sufficient and take only 1/2 the gym. But I don’t know. It will be years to flesh out the details. I am definitely going to put in a “suite” type visitor room for when modelers come to operate/help out. It is also on over 2 acres of land so I could build a 60x90 building out behind…but that is where I was going to put the pool.
