What I have been up to lately

Ok, I have done a lot recently and thought I should post pictures of my projects. (I started more than I finished.)

The new pics start after the green stock car.

The first two after it, of the steamer, is a Mantua 0-4-0 that I weathered with craft paints. Next are two Athearn cabeese that I am converting to ATSF cabeese. The next three after them are an Athearn passenger car that I cut down to haul scrap. (There is a prototype.) The 3 after it are of an ON30 diesel I am scratchbuilding on an AHM plymouth chassis. The two after it are an ON30 class A climax I am scratchbuilding. I am not sure what to power it with, it will have to be some sort or underfloor power truck.

After it is a Mantua pacific that I am converting to a CNW/Omaha E-3. They were the largest pacifics ever built. The next car is the green stockcar from above after paint. It is a super cheap Bachmann, but now it looks good with the molded on ladder rungs seperate and a wooden roofwalk. Next is a Roundhouse 30’ reefer floor that I made into a flatcar with an Athearn tractor on it. The fishbelly part is made of cardstock. After a visit to Cass, I decided to build a flatcar similar to one they have there near the station. It is the next picture, and is ON30. And, finally, the next two are ON30 railguns.

And, the last two pictures are a little bit of humor. I found this while cleaning my workbench a few weeks ago. It was the back from a set of pliers.

I added some more.

The next two are a Bachmann 70 tonner that I am converting to a 6-axle HON30 diesel. The two after them are of a Tyco tank car I weathered. Sure looks better than it did, but still not very good. And, the last 3 are an AHM(?) Plymouth with various scratchbuilt details added to make it look like some heavily modified industrial critter. I remember reading somewhere that this loco was better sized to be a low-clearance ON30 engine than an HO engine, so that is what I am saying it is. I need to buy a new chassis for it because I used its chassis for the one other engine.
