I am an ALCo Nut. There is a problem in the Large Scale market though. There are only 4 ALCo models out on the market, the Aristo RS3 and FA’s, and the USA TRAINS S4, and PA’s. I would like to see a few others out on the market, such as C420’s, C628’s, RSD4’s, and many others. What do you guys think?

Any U.S. diesels would be welcome! I don’t care if they are ALCO, EMD or GE, having some larger (1:29ish) diesel product would be pretty cool.

Personally I think the next big dismal release should be an F40 or an FP45

European narrow gauge at Aristo/Bachmann prices. I’m surprised Bachmann haven’t expanded into this area given they now own Liliput, who make HOe scale models amongst other things. I’d have thought a modern RhB Bernina line railcar would be feasible, and it would find plenty of buyers.

Ya know what vsmith, tell Scott that I agree with him. I would like to see the C424, and C425. I would like to see how he would convert them into C420’s.

I think it’s time LGB built a GM SD70 to go with their Amtrak diesel [;)]

Fornies are quite nice looking locos. Why are they cxalled Fornies, surely it has nothing to do with fornication.

As for my favorite Alcos, anything with siderods, preferably narrow gauge. (Though in all honesty, if you’re going to have a diesel, nothing beats the gentle gurgling of an Alco.)
