What is the difference between the old 130' turntable and the new DCC turntable of Walthers

I have the old 130’ turntable of Walthers, and saw that they came with a DCC version of this turntable and a kit to upgrade the old one.

What is the difference between the new and old?

The new one has a decoder and a digital readout.

Beside a decoder and readout is it than not special prepared for DCC? I explain: that the table is wired in a manner that the voltage automatic chance in th correct way when it arrives at a spur?

Ex: your left rail is wired with a red wire and the right rail is wired with a black wire(also the rails are likewise wire an the table of the turntable), so if you turn the table there wil be always a position were the table’s right rail(with the black wire) and the left rail(with the red wire) will be at a incoming or outgoing spur with the reverse coler code.

Or I am missing something?

The mechanism on the Walthers turntable is designed such that as the turntable is rotated, it will match polarities without the need for an auto-reverser or DPDT switch, assuming that the stall tracks and approach tracks are all wired in phase.

One exception to that general statement is a situation that I encountered.
