what are the red engines up front?

And what is that white engine to the left in the background?

A guess:

TRRA = Terminal Rail Road Association (St. Louis) SD45, GP38, SD18 inbound transfer run from UP 23rd Street Yard at TRRA Madison Yard

White engine = GE Chinese high altitude locomotive, bound for AAR/TTC in Pueblo to run around in FAST circles or to the “shaker” with dynamometer car in tow. On NS line to KC (Photographer looking east - Pueblo is only half as high as China)
