Well I guess I will start this poll with my answer being Lenz set 100. I really like it alot and everyone I am sure likes their system they have naturally. I also have the cordless phone adapter for my “wireless throttle” operation. I paid a total of $509 almost two years ago from Litchfield Station for my Lenz system and it came with:
Lenz set 100
Power supply
(3) Accessory decoder machines
(2) reverse loop modules
Im still on plain ikd Dc but will be changing to DCC after reading the December issue of MR…hope to make up my mind on the right system for me…
Mike…
NCE.
I tried others, and I like their user interface best.
I voted for Prodige, I’ve just recently made the decision. Spent all my time on traditional DC so far. I still have a fear of all the engines I have to change over to DCC (approx20). My so has jumped on the band wagon with me and has offered to pay for half of the system!! yipeee!!!
I was introduced to Digitrax a year ago and haven’t looked back. My LHS is now carrying the full line of their product at comparable prices!

Even though some may not really consider it much of a DCC system, you should include Bachmann on the poll choice, too. It may be limited, but it does work…and works well for what it does…

I use Dynatrol DCC which is made by Lahti Associates with some major components made by NCE. Great system!
I was first introduced to Digitrax at my club, thats all I have ever used since.
Currently, plain ole DC. I’m considering either NCE or MRC Prodigy Advance. Till then, I’m looking into getting a MRC Tech 4 260 so I can have some better functionality than the [censored] I got in my Bachman Starter set.

Back in about 1996 I was first introduced to Digitrax by Loy Spurlock (LoysToys). After a little research and a few visits with Zana and A. J. Ireland of Digitrax, I took the plunge with their Big Boy system. Yes I realize that it is now “old” and has a few drawbacks compared with the “new” operating systems, but I’m very happy with it, it works great and I’ve never had any problems.
I’ve got a Digitrax Super Empire Builder. Love It!
Digitrax Zephyr with three walkaround plug-ins, right now just have one UT-4 but may add another one later. Works pretty good, usually just operating by myself so only need to be able to run 2 trains at a time (actually one ‘train’ with the other being a switcher working the yards), rarely use more than 2 engines per train so more than enough power from the DZ.
Lahti sold out his red plug Dynatrol to a fellow in Erie, Pa and he is marketing as Classic Dynatrol. I also use Dynatrol and it is great
