I plan to model a Trona Baldwin AS616 in N scale, I have heard that the Trainmaster would be a good place to start becouse the truck spacing on the wheels is correct. I would like to know how long they are from end to end and between the inside trucks . Any info would be greatly appreciated
One of these? http://www.trainweb.org/greggfuhriman/trona-as616.html
You want to go to this site:
http://www.railfax.com/
And order this back issue:
65 JAS 78 V11 #12- LIRR Roster. BLW AS616 Drawings, Begin Regular Railscanning Feature
Length over coupler pulling faces: 58’ 10-3/4"
Length over frame is 30" less.
Cheers,
Mark.
