What is the S.U.S.I. interface?

I notice that some Lenz decoder manuals refer to an S.U.S.I. sound interface. What is this? Is it available to us?

In a joint project by the companies DIETZ, UHLENBROCK and LENZ, the concept for a sound and function interface for locomotive decoders was developed last year.
The purpose of this interface is to allow sound and other function modules to be connected to a locomotive decoder in a particularly simple manner.
