I shot this in Fremont on Friday.

Allan.
Well, I’m going to guess that this locomotive is a GP30. I honestly, don’t have a clue as to what railroad owns the unit. I’m going to guess that it is a leasing company. AM I RIGHT???
The locomotive is a GP30. It is owned by Scoular Grain Co, and switches their elevator in Fremont. It was previously owned by CP Rail.

It is a EMD GP30…looks like it was painted for CEFX lease fleet.
Most likely has the upgrade elecritcal system, making it a GP30-2, the dynamic brakes have been removed, you can see where the cooling vents were plated over.
Dont know who the original owner was, but they have the bell on the top, between the number boards, and a snow plow.

It looks like a GP-30 to me, probably recently rebuilt.
I can’t help you with the railroad though.
It’s a EMD GP-30, I took 5 minutes to make sure it was not a GP-22.
It is one of only two GP30’s built for a Canadian road. It is ex-Canadian Pacific 5001.
THANKS EVERYONE.
I believe this answer to be correct. I saw this unit when in Fremont a couple of years ago and asked the same question back then and believe I got the same answer. I suspect Mookie can confirm this information.
