The same reason people put football polls and music polls on this forum!
And
Because it offers a short aside to see what people like to eat!
How about you Bob, what food do you crave and just have to get, but do not always have enough of?
And
I know after a long day of workin’ on the railroad, I just gotta have a snack!
And
Ever read the book, “Dinner in the Diner”, it is a great read on the culinary aspects of dining on rail…
Chinese…while pizza and pasta come a close second, I get more of a meal out of the Chinese food…and can order it delivered, meaning time saved on food prep, time saved on going out to eat…all that extra time to work on the railroad! I know, I’m pathetic.
There was a time when the coolest dinner was having a pizza with my dad in Penn Station before riding the train home. Wow - I would give anything to have a trip like that again.
Picking a favorite would be tough. I eat a lot of Mexican food. But since I live down here, I guess that’s not unexpected.
I’ve always thought that if I had to pick one meal that I’d be willing to eat every day for dinner it would probably be a charcoal grilled steak with potatoes.
But if I only had one meal left, I’d probably ask for rack of lamb.
It’s lunch time, gotta go find something, my mouth is watering just thinking about that stuff.
Ryan,
Where’s “all of the above”. I love food… hard to pick a favorite. But the crab legs we were discussing the
other day rank pretty high on my list. It’s also hard to beat a good Chinese restaurant. Dave
