As always if you look till your eyes bleed you will find so good info. I found this link very helpfull since I am converting all of my trains to Kadee’s

If you can not see the page that well I think the OS still has a “increase size” but I can not remember were. Here is some more helpful links.

Why use Kadee at all, the ones i have seen are nothing but trouble.

Dear Ian,

Our experience has been that most experienced modelers in any scale sooner or later end up with Kadee couplers or one of the look-a-like copies.

The reasons are very simple: they are very reliable, offer a wide assortment of different styles in most of the scales, look good and, if properly installed in the first instance, need practically no maintenance to give years and years and years of flawless service.

However if one has substandard trackwork, doesn’t know how to install them properly, doesn’t adhere to what Kadee recommends or knows how to adapt the recommendations to one’s own situation…then there could be problems. But in our experience that is the same with any product! The best product in the hands of slip-shod users can be a disaster … by no fault of the product!

Best regards

ER

Kadee is good…FOR INDOORS. I use only Aristo and USA couplers (course i mostly run Aristo and USA).

The merits of whose coupler is the “best” has been flogged on this and other forums ad infinitum. Dave merely posted a link to assist those who do choose Kadee couplers. Can we leave it at that, and not rehash that which cannot be answered?

Later,

K

If you only seen them, why not try one or two with a small train and couple of cars? Before blasting them?!
