Just love those EMDs, from "F"s to SD’s. One of the phases I’m into lately. Who knows, next may be Alco or start working on some B&O steam power.

I can’t vote because the TURBINE option is not included in the above.

i like ALL diesels, but the first and secound gen are my favorites.[;)][:D]

i like all EMD diesels from the F-# to the gp38-2, sd40-2, sd70mac also like modern GE diesels -ac4400.dash 9 ect.

Being a New Haven fan, I can like ALL 4!!!

Diesels electrics of course.

I like everything but how could you forget turbines? I built a turbine car for my latest science project…with building and design by Yoshifriend Corp and sponsored by the one and only Scott Squad Railroad!

I like all trains but electrics are just awesome. They have power, size and speed. Look at the GG1, HHp8, the european electrics and the E33. Man those are awesome. Such a shame we do not have more electrified lines here in the US.

Diesel if I go by the amount I own, steam if I go by the ones I run more often. I couldn’t decide which way to vote.

I run both! And I like both! Mostly steam and early diesel.
I can and do run both however, by either by changing the area by a few years, doing the transition time frame, and I’m running freelance road that compresses the time frames. Guess I have all the best going.

I like steam the best (Pennsy is my interest, circa 1935-45). I model first generation diesels because that is consistent with the reason my freelanced railroad exists in the first place. If I had unlimited space, time and money, around 1942-1944 Pennsy would be in the works.

OOH ! i just broke the tie between steam and diesel

GO STEAM !!!

I like anything diesel.

My favorite is Diesel because I like LS&I and LS&I had very little steam.

STEAM ROCKS! You’ve never lived till youv’e seen one run.

I’m into electrics and diesels (my username bears that out, I think). I suppose it’s because I’m also a railfan, and steam predates me by quite a bit, and because I’m in the northeast where electric locomotives are plenty common.
