If you really want to get in trouble with Bob Buck, say how bad Penn Central was! I did once…once (obscure movie reference). We were at a local layout that had a lot of PC power in the engine facility (probably all dead!). I said something to the effect of, “Why would anyone want to model that?” Bob, who happened to be standing next to me, asked me why I said that. I replied with a long list of not-so-nice things that PC did to the New Haven.
Bob’s reaction: “Shut up!” [:D]
At the time, I didn’t know he was a PC fan. [;)]
We laugh about it now, but I was rather shocked at the time.
