Making my way down from Utah yesterday heading back to So.Cal. when just outside of Las Vegas near the Drywall plants was a derailment of coal cars. Didn’t have time to really stop and snap any photos. Anyone know more about it? I wonder if it was the coal train that I chased through the Ogden Canyon a day before.
Sounds more like it derailed before it got to Vegas.
Just checked all the local media outlets - nada. On the theory that no news is good news, that seems to indicate that there were no fatalities or major injuries. I certainly hope that’s the case.
