track hammer works great for track.

Xuron Track Cutter, wish I hade purchased one a long time ago. Great tool!

A fine set of needle-nosed pliers would be handy once or twice. A sharp and robust cutting tool to trim and cut roadbed material.

Addendum -Sorry if this is cheesy, but you already have the strongest tool going for you. …your determination to make this all work. [:D]

thanks have added them to the list

I made a yard stick tool. Use the straight edge to keep the track straight. Used the 1" incraments to drill 1\8" holes for different radius turns. (18",20",22", 24", 30"ect…) Stick a nail in one end for a pivot point and a pencil in the desired radius hole and draw your curves like a big compass.
Sharp exacto saw or rail cutters.
Files
Cheap soldering iron
Drills for feeder wire holes
Use nails if there’s a chance your going to change the layout around,If not, a thin layer of caulk or liquid nails works great for track and roadbed. (liquid nails is pretty permanant) DON’T glue you switches down.
Good luck! Keep us updated.
