What Trucks are used with Athearn HO scale Bombardier passenger cars?

I cannot find any info on the kind of trucks used on these models. I have 4 GO Transit cars but one flew off my layout and the truck is damaged. Other than buy another (not GO Transit as they are hard to find and usually very expensive) and replace the truck.

Any information would be really helpful. [bow]

If you have not already done so I suggest contacting Athearn / Horizon Hobby directly. They may be able to assist you. B.T.W. These cars are being re run and due out later in the year.

I recently contacted Athearn about these trucks for a projects. they are around $9.00 for a set of two trucks (enough for one car). They have them in their parts department. I hope this information helps.

Just an update if anyone cares…[:|]

I was able to purchase the HO Bombardier car at Model Rail Craft for $25.86 with shipping included.

Expensive (but cheaper then eBay) for trucks but I can use it for parts. It is a Sounder Bombardier Passenger car.

Anyone want a HO Bombardier car with no trucks?

You gotta do what you gotta do!

I would contact Athearn again after the new release comes out and see if they have the trucks. If so buy two sets, one to put on the Sounder car and one for your parts department. The Sounder car can now be resold in good working order.
