I appologize to the extent this has been tangentially covered in other threads, but what do you think will happen to Rail American and FEC?
I have kind of a tainted view, as 90% of my legal business comes from venture capitalists’ greed getting in the way of the proper handling of a business–often causing substantially less profit as a result. So, I have to admit, I am a bit worried based upon my admittedly limited knowledge and experience.
Do you think there will be significant investment in either entity? I have some hope for this investment, as the obvious purpose of the purchase is to go public with both entities in a few years and get a phenomenal return. I figure there are two ways to do this, (1) spend some money on both properties and bring in some good management or (2) defer maintenance to inflate the value. I really hope we will see some investment.
I am sure my analysis is wanting, but I would like to be educated as to people’s thoughts on this subject.
