I’d wish for a forum translator that would take the forgeign tougues of people and display it in proper English. for instance, the single letter U would be spelt out as YOU and the single letter R would be Spelt out as ARE. Really 2 keystrokes more is not that difficult.
As for MRR stuff, well More Southwestern, pre-1900 stuff (scenery, figures, ect)

A functional 1:1 scale gold mine. Joe G.
Related to trains…
More authentic ATSF and SP steam in HO. 5011 classes, F-5s, 3800 classes, AC-8s, 2900 classes, F-3s. Whatever, its all good.
As a bitter and twisted foreigner,
I’m with NTDN, a compulsory, artificially intelligent, spell checker for EVERYBODY.
Like Aggro, a consistent set of steam locomotives, that would allow a realistic roster to be built up. At least, USRA locomotives that can easily accept all the prototype variations.
In MR, articles to explain how steam locomotives were used, and the limitations they imposed on prototype operation.

More realistic steam locos, and as much extra money and space as I wish.
What I would wish for?
A computer with no viruses, spam & junk
a program to inventory all my rolling stock
another to paint locomotives & make decals
More N scale steam
MR would make an effort to present ALL scales in their magazine,
Product Reviews would have better balance with new products in Every scale!
or feature articles on how to build & use the kita available!
Trains would include 1 article on a railroad you could model in a reasonable amount of space.
Another Acela Express with all 6 cars, and/or a P-42 Amtrak with the Phase V paint scheme and a bunch of superliner coaches with it, all in HO scale.
7 1/2 inch gauge ride on real steam Royal Hudson 2860 with all the maroon CP coaches, dinning cars and sleeping cars, for my backyard…better yet set up on a 100 acre lot somewhere where I’d have lots of room for running!
And the Hudson 2816 as a backup, I would also use it for double heading on the long weekends when all the friends and family come over and the trains running loooong.

Perfect locomotives. They would be so accurate that it would be like shooting the real thing with a shrink ray.
Mine would not be model related. It would be 1:1 scale. I would like to see all the fallen flag railroads returned to service. Say from 1950 on. That would give us back NYC, B & O, C & O, Frisco, Wabash, NKP, CNW, WP, SP, Southern, Katy, The Rock, Seaboard, ACL, MP, and many others that just escape my tired mind right now. And since it is from 1950 on that would mean that we would still have Alco making locomotives too. Now you can’t wish for much better than that. [;)] [:D]
Space large enough to field a complete “Canadian” consist from the 60’s or from now.
Oh ya, enough time & money to be able to do all this as well.
Gordon
Lots and lots of money so I can buy a house with plenty of space for a layout, lots of model trains and of course some 1:1 scale items as well.
That was what I initially thought, but after hearing your wish Jim, I’m leaning your way!
A rich wife who would support this habit of mine. A workshop larger than a football field. A track cleaner that never (ever) needed filled or repaired. An airbrush with no connecting hoses. And the list goes on and on.
A Trix Big Boy and infinate money!!![:D][(-D][swg][tup][yeah]
Or maybe a 1/2 scale ride on Big Boy, Challenger, FEF-3, and a 9000. I’d be the UP king!!!

A larger basement to build the layout in.
My daughter just moved into her new house yesterday. The basement is about 34 by 60 feet, stairs come down in the middle away from any walls, the furnace and HW heater are together so could be easily walled in, and the ceiling is 9 feet high.
I could build a very nice mushroom layout down there, with room for a shop and crew lounge, too.
I’m jealous!
I would wi***hat my Acela Regional GG1s would actually exist and I could have one more ride on the old Pennsy powerhouses
I would wi***hat people have better things to do than criticize spelling and grammar mistakes. I try to keep my posts free of them, but then I border on obsessive-compulsive in many areas. [;)]
If others are comfortable with a more relaxed posting style, who cares? You obviously understood what was being said, so what is the problem?
No harm, no foul. [:)]
to win the lottery…then i could buy all the stuff i want for my layout
