I would like to see someone make a SD40T-2. Athearn’s is good but I would like to see one come out with detail options. It’s becoming harder to find detail parts. I would also like to see an AC6000. I would paint it blue with a big R of course[:D][:D][:D].
thanks,
Jeremy

More accurate high level HO steam, pre-1900, both wood and coal burners.

[C):-)][#ditto][#ditto][#ditto]I’d buy 4!!!
Affordible, high quality steam
more acurate first gen. diesels
a UP 9000 (4-12-2)
DDA35 (already made?)
a decent DDA40X (bachmann’s is garbage)
some GP9Bs
a UP Super Turbine
FEF-1s and 2s
HO scale CP Rail “red barns” (SD40-2F) and CN SD50Fs in plastic…I’m too poor to buy brass[:(] and I’m too lazy to kitbash[;)]
Baldwin DR-4-4-15/RF-16 ‘Shark’ 'A & B diesels by either Stewart, Bachmann Spectrum or Life-Like Proto 1000, or preferably Proto 2000 in HO.scale. Please use correct trucks (Model Power and ER Models use incorrect Alco FA/FB trucks). Picky aren’t I. . . And for something real unlikely, a decent Alco-GE-Ingersoll-Rand 300hp Box Cab switcher, circa 1925 or later similar variants. hey MDC isn’t it time you upgraded your old noisy, cranky ‘box cab’?
L & N and N C & StL accurate freight (incl. caboose) and passenger equipment for late steam/1st gen diesel era in reasonably affordable plastic in HO
Really good HO scale automobiles that aren’t $6.00 apeice. I don’t know how I will outfit my layout with 100 cars at those prices. Any other suggestions?
May i please get a DM&IR M4 2-8-8-4
I would like to see more steam engine kits that are affordable.
More photo back drops.
How about an “accurate” body shell of a Western Maryland consolidation., Something where we could remove the upper body of a Bachmann mechanism, and replace with something much closer to the h-8 or h-9 class?
Heck, this could work with a lot of other roads too, that had 2-8-0’s with much different boiler details.
(re: affordable HO scale vehicles)hey farrellaa-- I agree with you. Model railroaders are getting ripped by the absurd prices for decent scale plastic vehicles. Of course we don’t have to buy them , or we could instead model the 19th century. Have you priced scale horse and buggies lately?!? Seriously, I’ve been real outspoken on this before on another Forum topic so I won’t repeat or vent here.
I agree with Farrellaa & Bill M. about afordable vehicles, I have some but due to the cost I use mostly detailed matchbox tractor trailers , fire engines , police cars ect.
