Looking at back issues of CTT I see numerous ads for Moondog Express ties and road systems for O gauge layouts. I have done numerous web searches but cannot find any current website or phone number for this company.
Did they go out of business? If so, did anyone pick up their line of products? 3-R Plastics carries ties which I have used, but I have not found a comparable road way (made from recycled tires, resembles asphalt). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also think Moondog was the name of a one-time character, a “hippie,” on an old episode of Gomer Pyle, USMC.
BTW the last contact we had with the ex-Mrs. Moondog was when we bought rubber streets for our two-level layout (upper level holiday/lower level desert) project layout in the Dec 1999 issue. At the time she said we were buying the last of the roads, but that she planned on doing another run. It really is a first-class product unlike any other on the market today.
