What's going on on the MR forum?

Could one of the administrators tell me what’s going on? Why is it all locked?
Are you reformatting it? Locking it forever?

Looks like the MR forums are on lockdown. I saw searchlights and sirens going off. [;)]

Hopefully it’s on for a short time. Last nights events must be worse then what was first thought.

I’d guess Bergie has something to do with locking it - would be nice to see why they feel the need to lock it now though, the problem from last night seemed to be fixed?

I’m trying to contact him through this, but I don’t know any other ways.
If he’s busy making our beloved forum better, I don’t think we should bother him.

I don’t usually go to the MR forum; but, my suggestion is don’t bug Bergie,
and just wait awhile, then try it again.

I saw what was posted last night. Somebody trolling around, bad stuff though. I haven’t seen anything over here as bad as that.

I think they are still getting flooded by the trolls from last night. Let’s just say they posted some rather nasty things in regard to model railroading.

I guess this means more actual model train time, and learn some more about the real thing. Be patient Matthew, everything happens for a reason. Have faith [tup]

Trolls are everywhere. Its to bad Bergie is the ONLY moderator over there. If there was more then I bet it wouldn’t be such a big problem. Oh well, another good forum gone to waste by idiots on the internet.

Here’s what happened: Last evening, a new member treaded onto the forums. He instantly started causing trouble. He was smartaelic, perverted, and acted as if he was a stoner. He mentioned, among other things, crack rocks, and women. It was a bad situation. I e-mailed Bergie as soon as I saw this pandemonium(Sp), and I received a message from him today saying that he had locked his account. So he’s gone.

I think it was probably one troll using several names - the postings all followed a similar line. Hopefully we’ll be allowed back in before too long.
