What's going on with MR?

Today I recieved my second subscription renewal notice this week. I already renewed a few months ago and my subscription expires Dec. of 2020.

Also I tried to submit a Flea Mkt ad to the website and i intend to place an ad in the magazine also. I was not able to submit the ad to the website because I got an error that the page was not available.

I sent a question to customer service and they just gave me the run around.

Are there issues with your cash flow?

Joe

According to another member of this parish, MR is currently doing a major reconstruction/upgrade of their IT systems, hence the occasional, but nevertheless annoying hiccup.

I think some of the shredded [#dots] pieces got sucked into the cooling fan inlets and gummed up the works.

Ahhh! That makes sense, a lot of [#dots] has been getting thrown around lately.

Oh boy, just what we need, another forum upgrade! We so enjoyed the past few.

Nowadays. Upgrades alnost have to be weekly events to keep up with the criminals. With major rebuilds monthly. It sucks but a sign of the times

As far as I have understood the situation, we do not talk forum software upgrade, but hardware.

I used to work in IT.

Not having to do support is a major reason I’m glad I’m retired.

First I’ve heard of the Flea Market. Can you provide a link because I can’t find it.

your response got lost in the quote.

Is their a flea market?

Please do not post links to sales sites on the Forum. Thanks.

Yes there will be a flea market in March. As soon as I can get it posted in the coming events column, you will find the details.

Joe

I thought he was saying it was somewhere on this website, which didn’t add up given the forum rules.

Coming events is on this website. Go to the top right of this page and click on resourses, then click on coming events. There are the listings of upcoming RR related events.

Steve shouldn’t throw us out for that.

Flea markets yes! [#dots] They are hard to find these days, I do miss them[:S]… I remember the Blaine flea market. It was so big and so huge it would take you an hour and a half to go through even if you were in a hurry.

I very rarely ever bought anything. It’s just one of those things when you’re bored and your glad to have something to do looking through all that crap.

What is with this that you somehow like looking at other people’s junk even though you’re all full up here and don’t need any more[:|]

Things that make you go hmmm

I think it’s the thrill of the hunt. A basic fundimental neccessity that has it’s origins in the stone age. [:)]

After you’ve captured your prey, the rest is just mundane, and a mental let down.

Without a doubt for the majority of us.

When I was collecting short line IPD boxcars it was the thrill of the hunt and when a real hard to find road name was found I was happy but,on the other hand kinda sad because the hunt ended for that car.

Well I just tried again to enter our flea market in the Coming Events section of this website and got the following again.
