Whats is on your Christmas list????

A new RS-3 in G scale and a few rolling stock. Ben[:D][:D]

Hi Ben,

I only wish for the time and patience to finish all the projects I’ve already started.

Walt

Still a newbie here, too many wants, but buildings and people

Everything in the “Buddy L” train catalog from 1921 to 1931.

…but I have a better chance of having a torrid love affair with Selma Hyack than getting the Buddy L collection[(-D][(-D][(-D]

1 platform and articulated 5 platform double stacks , and more double stacks and Hanjin containers to go with them. However i’ll take world peace .

I woould like my track cleaning loco back, many of you know it was the subject of a legal dispute which we won. but I would still love one that worked properly on my MTS system.

Every blasted terrorist on the planet drops dead and we can all get our troops back from that sand pit.

Hi,
just enough time and patience to go further all the waiting projects…time and good weather-conditions during the holidays to run the trains outside and 3 to 4 new LGB-cars (passenger and freight).

Hey, my wife still asks for a pony, so why can’t I ask for something equally improbable? Her advantage is that ponies actually do exist.

Their must not be to many people with train equipment or train things on their Christmas list ??? BEN

Well Ben,

seeing as I don’t have anything right now, almost anything would be good so I’m not really set on anything specific atm.

Take care,

Jack

Two words, MOTIVE POWER! And you got it right my X-mas list, after X-mas and my financial obligations as Chris Kringle I see this Carpenter going on a buying spree[:p] to fullfill “my list” What’s the point in X-mas if you don’t buy yourself something your actually going to like?

Hey Kim

Talking about terrorist and more precisely Islam. Did you know every year the Arabs try to get nearby Bankstown Square in Sydney to not have Christmas, as it is not within there religeous whatever. Some kindergartens in Sydney are also deleting Christmas decorations and carols from the little kids they are responsible for.

A group of young parents have got together to blacklist them. Sometime I feel we are fighting a losing battel against all these people who are living a couple of centuries in the past.

If you think I dislike Muslims more than I dislike the French your right.

I hope I don’t get deleted for bringing religeon into it. But after all it is Chrismas and this is an important time for all of us and for many it has little to with religeon more about kids and our way of life…

Complaints from down under.

Know what you mean guys. Here at the University I work at we can’t call the coming holidays Christmas in case it upsets some people. Utter bo**ocks, if people can’t live and let live they need to keep their big mouths shut and their small brains disengaged, doubly so for the wimps who listen to them.
Apologies if I have overstepped the mark, it’s just something I feel strongly about.
Cheers,
Kim

Hi all
We are all children of the book riligiouse tollerence is called for.
we are all free to follow our chosen faith.
This Carp about not celebrating any given religiouse festivel is political correctness gone mad ask any sensable cleric of any faith…
The terorrists are just that terrorists and justly hated by all right minded people.
And to do it in the name of god contreviens all the major tennents of the main stream faiths don’t confuse faith with acts of terror.
It is the season of good will to all men lets not spoil it or the ^%$#$%$#@
have won
Let us not condem those of a different faith because of the actions of those in the minority who would use violence in the furtherence of THIER POLITICAL AIMS if we do the #$#%^%$##@%$#@ have won an even bigger victory.
Let he who is without any guilt cast the first stone.
Let us instead reflect on our own faith and the true meaning of Christmas if it applies today as it did 2000 years ago and how it should rightly apply today
Sorry to preach when I am not qualified to do so.
Back to the christmas wish list as applicable to this forum
answer a Roundhouse Millie should be here before christmas just.

enjoy the HOLIDAYS . I hope i get my RS-3, but it will not be here until after the holidays . ben

What about the rights of the majority? If the citizens of any given country are overwhelmingly of one faith, say America or Canada or Austrailia, 90% Christian, or Iraq or Iran or Turkey, 90% Muslim, then as long as the religious rights of the minority are not violated, the majority of the folks in that country should be allowed to openly celebrate their religious festivals. In the US our constitution guarantees us the freedom to practice our own religion without restriction but not to keep our neighbor from practicing his own. We also make a really big deal about promoting ethnic diversity, why can’t we do same with religion?

If the Muslims or Jews or Hindus or Atheists want to have parades or festivals or take the day off it’s alright with me as long as I don’t have to participate, just as they don’t have to join in when I follow my traditions.

Today’s PC wants to keep folks with a minority view from feeling different or out-of-step with the mainstream. Well I’ve got news, they ARE different. And that’s not a bad thing it just makes them what they are. The majority must allow the minority to be just that, different, but we don’t have to deny our own unique character in the process.

So, a very happy hoilday season to us all regardless of how we choose to celebrate or not celebrate it.

Walt
