Anyone who has ever looked through the Walthers catalog realizes almost every single thing of the “real” world is available in the H-O world… So, what’s left?? I guess “crime scene tape”… what else guys? (with prayers and wishes for the people in the south)

people have modeled accidents and so forth,
for me the hobbyist I want to model what the spirit of the railroad was for, not what it
oopsied on. But thats life, and if you dont have mistakes or problems, you dont have reasons to solution and make things better.

The only thing I can’t find and I have not been able to find is a kit for barb-wire fence, if you ever drive any where out west you will see miles of the stuff, our railroads should have it.
Lotus…just use really thin wire or string and “call it barbed wire”. If anyone can see the barbs on it ( in HO scale) they must have -20 -20 microscopic vision…[:D][8D]
Anyway…I’d like to see a bigger selection of US military figures, rolling stock and vehicles…especially post WWI, but not WWII. Tanks, artillery pieces, etc.

Yes Lotus098 (James), there actually are barb-wire fence kits out there. You might try nomonee on ebay. He carries a lot of odd and hard to find items like that.

Just to clarify My original post guys, my comment was in no way tied to the tragedy in the south, I had been looking around for weeks trying to see what was in the real world but not being produced… the only thing I found was crime scene tape… In many ways it’s a tribute to the model producers that they have come so far in the production of so many great items. I mean heck, they even produce graffiti-- not that I will ever use it.
