I agree, the ratings function is going to cause more trouble than the stupid stars ever did, because some people (not necessarily AG) just hate everything and will pee on the cornflakes just because they can…

Most of the time when you see a double (or triple) post it’s due to an unresponsive computer or server at the time.

As far as the “multi” s go, the admins might have some tweaks they need to do on “flood control” or the like.
I did have 2 episodes earlier where I tried to access this forum and my browser just hunted and hunted and hunted, never resolving this site. So immediately afterwards I tried to access another, and went right to the other forum. Suggesting the problem might be at trains.com as opposed to elsewhere.

My personal opinion, I don’t care. I wish people would grow up and not be so materialistic (only way I could think of to describe it)… Stars this, rating stars that, its not worth getting your BVD’s in a bunch over…

Actually someone turned me on to the fact that you can see who gave what rateing and I was pokeing around and noticed that everybody was giveing out medium to high rateings and you were passing out low rateings. I was curious as to what gives, especially sience you lowballed two of my threads.
But if your running some sort of covert mission…well…good luck with it.

I think you’re preaching to the choir here. Perhaps you should take this suggestion to one of those Dave (FM), Michael, Ken arguments…er uh…threads.

10-4. You gave me the web address before, but I still don’t know how to transfer them from the site to this forum. Me no goodie wif kompooters.
Here is how to do it.
1 select a smilee and with your curser over the image left click on it. That opens a window…
2 In that window select properties at the bottom of the window.
3 Another window will open with the URL. Highlight the URL.
4 Then copy the URL and C keys at the same time.
5 Go back to the post and paste the URL, and V keys at the same time.
6 add the img tags before and after the URL like this:
{img}http://www.acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif{/img}
only use instead of { }
It’s easy once you get the hang of it.
