For about 30 seconds I had a drumstick on two 89’ flatcars before my dad made me take them off…
A 60’ TTX intermountain flat car with a International Harvestor Bulldozer with Ripper in HO scale.
Still trying to figure out how to secure the &^%$ thing to the deck (Chains etc looking prototypical)
One thing for sure it will be a slightly over size load throwing a wrench into my operations.
Right now it is…AIR.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!

My brother contend that the best use for a flat car is bringing a beer from the fridge. He never built it yet.
When I was a kid I had a Hamster that loved to ride the rails.

I have several WWII army tanks that I put on 40’ flat cars.
The covered artillery guns from Chooch.
When I was a teenager, 3 of my friends and myself, put all our extra HO track together in my basement. When we were building the layout, if you needed a tool or parts, we just put it on a flat or a gon and send it around. Then it started getting fun. Whatever you could find, we would put it on a car . . . dead bugs, candy bars, etc. I took a flat upstairs and tied a weiner to it. I put it on the layout and sent it around. We all busted out laughing. My one friend laughed so hard, he fell off his stool.
