I’ve tried several times to connect to the Atlas MRR forum this morning and been unable to do so. Is this one of their “planned” outages, or just a fluke? Inquiring minds…

I just tried to access the forums through the main sitre and got a blank page.I don’t think this is their annual shutdown.
Must be some kind of crash, they have not had a summer shut down in a couple of years now. Too bad, I look forward to the photo threads[:(]

well, at least it hasn’t been a weekly occurance like it used to be, first time in c couple months at least that this has happened, maybe it’s too hot up there and the forum doesn’t want to play today.
I started Sunday Proto Photo Fun around 12:30AM so it’ll be waiting for y’all when the forum comes back online…might have to rename it MONDAY PPF this week[:)]
I have heard repeatedly they have some kind of anti-hacker software like banks and credit card companies use that shuts down the site if it senses a hacker. Since this only seems to occur on weekends? A case in point is you don’t see the spam and grafitti like the Bachmann site has incessantly
It could be their summer break when they are on vacation, no one is available to monitor us. There had been talk on the forum about the possible break two weeks ago, but nothing was said from atlas about a break to confirm the thread.
There is also a possbility it is just forum maintenance. It used to be down for a few hours almost every weekend.
The servers are not responding?

Curt I think that is was already explained so you are basically asking the same questions over again. Wait till tomorrow and find out buddy, be patient. Are you a member of that forum as well? Zay, I don’t know what his handle used to be on the Atlas forum (I have my guesses but to post them would be inappropriate), but one thing is for sure… he isn’t “Curt Mc” on that forum (Because that is me!!!) And I don’t know if I should be angered my the imitation here, or amused by it… If his real name is Curt and Mc is the beginning of his last name then I’d like to meet him… Otherwise I think he needs to change the name he’s using…

Odd that they have not come back on-line by now.
I don’t remember any mention of upgrades and/or shut down. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
It was back up this morning about 8 AM(CDT), but was down again by 9 AM. It appears they brought it back up this morning , then found an issue and took it down - thus the ‘under construction’ web page.

The Atlas Forum is still down.
I sent them an email to see if anyone is there to fix it
Early this morning it was “Page Not Found” and now it’s “Under Construction”, so I’d guess they’re tinkering with it.
Oh, well…when it’s back, it’s back.
