What's with the closer of Highway 22 in BC at the US border?

Closed in both directions from British Columbia and Washington Border, South of Trail to 3 km north of British Columbia and Washington Border, South of Trail (3 km) because of train derailment. What gives with this? Nothing in the local news about it. January 6th re-opening?

I heard on the KBS news this morning that two engines and 2 or 3 box cars went off the tracks. I haven’t heard for what reasons but this is just what I heard on the Nelson, B.C. stations.

I don’t think it was BN though… Burlington Northern Railroad has been a fallen flag since 1996, merged with the Santa Fe as BNSF Railway…[:-^]

Crews around here never use BNSF, only BN.

Did a nice job of keeping them off the highway and out of the pipeline.
