I am sorry that I could not get the other railroads in the east that i know of. I ran out of room? Please vote.
I model Pennsy, PC, CR and P&LE.
I all the time here debate on this and other forums about N scale guys who feel forgotten in foavor of HO. I am an N scaler and I do not feel that way, but I do get frustrated with the seeming over emphasis on “Eastern” railroads to the detriment of the great railroads that have run in the west. New runs of loco’s, rolling stock, etc. etc. always seem to carry many times more eastern names and forget great railroads like MoPac, Katy, Rock Island, Frisco, etc. These were great railroads too. MoPac, for only one example, was a major player in the industry up to its merger with UP in 1983, yet many manufacturers and even magazines give it so little attention as if it were some fly-by-night short line or never existed at all. Here is an idea, lets broaden our perspective a little.

Canadian Pacific

CSX. i saw one of their locomotives go through town when i was first starting and i loved the way that thing looked. so thats my favorite eastern rail road.
I choose the long defunct NYO&W. Great RR in its day.
The Lehigh Valley is my favorite.
I also model: RDG, EL, CNJ, PC, LHR, D&H, Ironton & PB&NE (Bethlehem Steel).
Candain National rules!!!
so does Chessie System
ShaunCN
N&W
The NS is Norfolf Southern, no “and” anywhere.
There are several hundred eastern roads, no way to include them all.
Were’s the Norfolk & Western???
D&H, where are you!!! Picked Pennsy! I’m in Delaware and they have some good history around here!
The Erie Lackawanna, cause they used to run a lot of trains thru my hometown.Interesting motive power too.
My favorite is the nickle plate. I also like Chessie.
I like nickle plate. I also like chessie
my father worked for the New York Central, Penn Central then Conrail. my brother worked for Conrail and now Metro North so i may be biased a little as i’m trying to include them all in my n scale layout.
I like nickle plate. I also like Cheesie
I picked Pennsy for the ones you listed, but I like the Ma and Pa more. Also, the Maine two footers, and the EBT,and the B&O, and the Old and Weary (NYO&W). Like the camelbacks the CNJ ran.
Enjoy

So many to choose from, I picked Canadian National, however I would have to include under their banner, Grand Trunk and Central Vermont, loved their 2-10-4s.
C&O would be way up there, gotta love those Allegheny’s!!
ERIE-LACKAWANNA , interesting history, PHOBE SNOW , Great paint scheme.
Although I said F E C on your poll,
I AM MY OWN FAVORITE EASTERN RAILROAD !!!
My road is the EAST COAST RAILWAYS.
The E C R uses many of the eastern roads as
lease engines as well as the B N locos, but I am my own
system.
Now, I chose the F E C becuase I grew up in Florida and really
love the old colors on “the Champion” passenger sets. Today,
the F E C went to bland blue but still a little nostalgia left to
admire.
