What's yours?

This is my favorite photo:

What’s yours?

Let’s have fun with this, guys.

I don’t have enough scenery to post a good photo but I do have a favorite memory.

Whitney Towers would allow my club to operate the Alturas and Lonepine once a month and we all would get some great laughs as someone would do something (me included) unorthidox and foul the main or totally mess up the schedule by not having trains ready to depart. We kept having to stop the clock for someone. Whit would alway run Alturas so he could sit ( he had difficulty standing for long periods) and it always seemed like he had two sigarettes going at once. He finally allowed me to run Alturas with his guidance and yes he laughed more than usual. The others in the group said it went prety well but I reminded them that he was so focussed on me that he couldn’t keep up with their fumblings.

Looks like the Fast Mail meeting the El Cap. Nice pic!! Who’s layout?

i liked this one

Haven’t been working on this scene lately, but it is the scene for which the layout was designed. I know some of you have seen this before, but I still like it.

Guys, all your pics are not working on my computer. Please double check your picture settings on your computer. Thanks.

Never mind. I found out what was the problem. You’re using web sites that is blocked by the school district (I’m only 15. Also, I do not have a computer at home.). Please see if you can put these pics on a web site that is not blocked by the school district. Thanks

N scale Model Power 4-4-0 bashed into a Camelback

this week, it’s this one

Well, for now my favorite photo of my layout is on display at the lumber yard. Just look at the pile of plywood and imagine me buying a few sheets.(will this project ever start?)

My favorite model railroad memory…the day I was given my Lionel HO train set way back in the 1960’s. I think that the day each of my past layouts were completed within usable status have always been special. Being able to choose to run a train or a project to work on makes that time the best in the hobby.

Guess I would have to pick this one of of the Mallet pulling a string of boxcars up a 2% grade.

Very Nice!!!

I wish I could take the credit but the picture nor the engines are even mine, but a friend of mine. He’s the one that inspired me to start this project.

A half dozen or so of us Yanks was elbow-bendin’ with a bunch of Aussies in the NCO Club at Tan San Nhut in you-know-where way back in 1967 - Where does the time go??? - and this one bloke kept telling about hunting Yours out in Western Australia. I had never heard of Yours so, without thinking, I finally ask, “What’s Yours???” I don’t get caught with that one anymore but I have managed to catch a few souls on my own with that one over the intervening years.

Ah, if it were only 1:1!
