Hi all you experts! What type of metal wheels can be used for picking up power for lights in Passenger Cars and/or Cabooses? Who Makes them? The ones with a metal axle and only one wheel insulated.
Thanks Sam

Personally, I prefer the Intermountain wheels. In my opinion they are the best available for my modest budget. I tried Jay Bee wheels, but have gotten quite a few that were “wobbly”.
I use Intermountain wheels. Just make sure to put the insulated wheels on the same side of the truck. Being all metal, it’s easy to mix them up.

Hi Intermountain Wheels----are they all the same with a metal axle with only one wheel insulated?
Found them at ModelTrainstuff.com but it doesn’t describe them except for wheel size.
Sam
Yes, all IM wheels have metal axles and one insulated wheel.

For most passenger cars you’ll want to use the 36" wheels.as said the IM wheels are your best bang for your buck.
